This blog is a journal about my trying to unlearn a materialist understanding of my existance in the world.
We are aiming to be an urban homestead with the goal of growing as much food as we can right here in suburbia.
Friends say I need a farm, but I can walk to my office, to the library, the quilting store, and the girls can walk to school from where we live.
I'd love to gather community who shares in the journey of making do with less, producing our own food or buying locally, and being more creative than our previous consumerist model has taught us.
