Happy New Year

This is a picture of the cat enjoying the new fireplace. This winter isn't as cold as last, but it is below zero at night with daytime highs in the 30s. We LOVE, love the stove. I cooked beans on the stove top the other day. I'll have to get more adept at cooking on it.

The photo is taken wit Nee's new Christmas camara - I still have an old one.

It sure looks cozy! I don't think I'll ever be able to convince hubby that we need a wood stove.

Boy .. good to have a wood stove where it gets that cold. If power goes, try a stew with dumplings n top!!! We did that once.

Hope the bunny is going to be OK ... too many dead bunnies lately.

I wish I had put a wood stove in the new living room- Sigh- I will be content with my new fangled electic fireplace! It gives out heat but you cannot cook on it.

I just love the fire, but rarely would need it here. Heck, it was 71 degrees here today and even warmer yesterday. (Oops, some people don't like it when I talk about my weather.)

Happy New Year!

Cat and a fireplace. Could it be more domestic?

So sorry to hear about the bun's ear troubles. Cecilia and Max send words of get-well-soon.

Totally jealous of your stove! It looks wonderful, great for cooking, gives off heat. Awesome! Oh, and currently jealous of the cat too. Mine passed away last year and my only goal this year is to adopt a new one. Happy New Year.
